SHARE was the Closing Night film of MoMA and Lincoln Center’s prestigious New Directors/New Films festival, where we introduced the film to our home NY audience! We also had a special screening in the Official Selection of 2019’s Cannes Film Festival. We originally played Cannes with the short film version of SHARE back in 2015, so it was especially meaningful to bring the feature version back to the Croisette!
We were absolutely blown away to win this year’s Sundance Institute | Amazon Studios Producers Award for Feature Film. Being honored by our mentors, collaborators and peers in this way meant the world to us. What a surreal cap to an amazing week! Official Sundance announcement here.
In addition to the Sundance Institute / Amazon Studios Producers Award, SHARE won two juried awards at Sundance! We are overjoyed to share (ha!) that Pippa Bianco was awarded the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award and our lead Rhianne Barreto won a Special Jury Award for Achievement in Acting.
